2008 DEER MOUNT AND AIR RIFLE CONTEST

One of the exciting features of this year's expo is the Toyota of Dothan Mount Contest. So bring in your favorite deer mount and display it for the public to enjoy. Bragging rights are on the line for this Southern show down and a little showing off is certainly in order. So load up that ole mossy horn, and bring it to the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds to try your luck. The mounts will be displayed in South Vendor building, and on Friday night The Big Dog and Toyota of Dothan will host a draw down drawing of all the entries. Great prizes will be given to some of the unlucky names who are pulled out early. The last eight names in the draw will shoot in an air rifle competition to determine the winner. The Big Dog and Toyota have put together great prizes for the final eight and a wonderful prize package for the winner. The contest will be judged and scored by J.C. Cambell, a world class .50 caliber rifle shooter. Each person entering a mount will receive one free ticket to the show, good for Friday night August 22, 2008, and you have to present to get in the shoot off. Just complete the entry form and bring your mount on down, and watch everyone turn green with envy. See you and your favorite deer head at the Southern Deer and Turkey Expo.
